It's Such Good News, Why Don't Catholics Go Door to Door?

method of spreading the message for Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses.
Why don't more Catholic communities employ this approach? What are
the positive and negatives of it? Join us for an engaging and enlightening
discussion.
Fr. Danielson served for many years as pastor of the Catholic Community
of Pleasanton, CA and is a nationally known speaker and retreat
leader.

An Evening With Fr. George Schultze, SJ
HWJW: How Would Jesus Work?
One of the fundamental challenges of the mature Catholic person
is not only how to balance work, family, and personal life, but
how to integrate an active faith and discipleship into all aspects
of one's life. Can a business be profitable, successful and Christ-centered?
Can what we DO for a living and who we ARE as Christians be fully
integrated?
Fr. George Currently teaches at St. Patrick seminary in Menlo Park
and directs the field education program for the seminary students.

An Evening With Anna Horen: What Makes
us Catholic?
Although we are proud to identify ourselves as Catholics, we are
often hard-pressed to explain what is distinctive about our faith
when asked or challenged by non-Catholics. This talk will explore
the distinctiveness of the Catholic worldview.
Anna Horen is the Director of Faith Formation at the Catholic Community
of Pleasanton. She has worked in parish ministry for over 12 years,
mainly in the area of Adult Faith Formation. In addition, she teaches
at the Diocese of Oakland's School for Pastoral Ministry, is a spiritual
director, and is a member of the diocese's Lay Ecclesial Ministry
Council. Anna holds an M.A. in Theology from the Graduate Theological
Union in Berkeley. She and Bob, her husband of 26 years, live in
Pleasanton. They are the proud parents of two sons.
